Available Early // ASICS Kick Off the Gel-Lyte III’s 30th Anniversary with OG “Flash Coral” Reissue

ASICS will kick off the 30th-anniversary celebration of the Gel-Lyte III with the return OG “Flash Coral” colorway on day one of the calendar year.

It follows last month’s release of the original Yellow and Green colorway, which saw its first retail release since 2012. This Flash Coral pair hasn’t been seen in God-knows how long either (any hardcore ASICS fans, feel free to help us out in this — but now it’s back in its original combo of White, Flash Coral, and Black

Keeping with the OG makeup, a white textile base is lathered with white leather and suede overlays at the midfoot, toe and heel, with vibrant pops of the title color along the front-end of the outsole and midfoot profile branding. The iconic split tongue also rocks the punchy orange, extending around the collar, and onto the laces, along with a quick flash on the midsole heel. Black mesh at the midfoot oozes vintage vibes, and the pair comes complete with a two-tone midsole, and tri-colored rubber outsole.

Those keen on adding a historical Gel-Lyte gem to their collection will find this OG Flash Crimson edition arriving at select stores like 43einhalb on January 1st, 2020 — which works out to be around 6:00 pm ET on New Year’s Eve — why not finish your year off with another cop, eh?
