Justin R. Saunders and his JJJJound team recently previewed another ASICS project as part of their Spring/Summer 2025 plans. The undisclosed silhouette features shades of white across its knit upper and GEL-QUANTUM 360™ tooling.

The unveiling follows a teaser image of a third JJJJound x GEL-Kayano 14 posted to Instagram. Unlike the impending Kayano, the newly-surfaced technical silhouette abandons any icy blue flair in favor of a cleaner aesthetic. Saunders and company's decision to go with a knit upper instead of the synthetic overlay-heavy design seen on so many retro ASICS runners harkens back to the Japanese institution's sports heritage, while also serving as one of JJJJound's bolder collaborations with the brand.

Launched as a heavily-cushioned trainer in 2015, the ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360™ line featured a sleeker upper than a lot of its predecessors from popular Kayano, Nimbus, and Cumulus franchises. Its ridge-laden upper wasn't short of perforations to enhance breathability. The upper also featured a printed vector logo at the profiles, and sizable heel counter. The model's marquee detail, however, was the sole unit underfoot, which coupled some of the company's key performance technologies for a stable, reliable ride.

Stay tuned for firm release details and detailed product shots of the GEL-QUANTUM 360™ by JJJJound. Pairs should launch globally via ASICS.com by August. Additional looks at the sneaker surfaced via the imprint's Summer 2025 look book.
