Despite its current success and focus on innovation for the sport of running, ASICS is one of the lifestyle space's most influential forces. Housed under the SportStyle division, its series of performance-footwear-turned-fashionable-sneakers has shifted the industry towards mesh-heavy running models from throughout the 2000s. For its latest endeavor, the brand has returned to 2015 to retro the GEL-QUANTUM 360™ silhouette.

Developed as a cushioned training model, the sneaker recently lent its tooling to Justin R. Saunders and his JJJJound imprint for their latest collaboration. As its name implies, the design includes 360 degrees of visible GEL-cushioning, a detail that appears on the current GEL-QUANTUM 360™ VIII. Despite its decade-old build, ASICS' offering fits in with the moment's sneaker landscape, delivering another option to those looking for retro style.

The brand hasn't confirmed a proper reissue run for the model as of yet, but photos acquired by House of Heat° and Elden Monitors reveal eight different pairs of the original ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360™ to launch before the year ends. As with other SportStyle products, the impending pairs enjoy a faithful recreation of the silhouette's blueprint, donning the same FluidFit™ upper seen in 2015. Color schemes include: black-and-lime-green, orange-and-teal, white-and-red, and cream-and-black. High-profile collaborations using the design should follow over the next 18 months.

Enjoy detailed shots of the newly-surfaced bunch below. Pairs should begin landing via ASICS.com and other retailers by the end of summer.
