CARNAN Dresses the ASICS GEL-Cumulus 16 in Deep Purple

Brazilian label CARNAN is reconnecting with ASICS for another collaborative release, this time taking on the GEL-Cumulus 16 for the second chapter of its ongoing “Path” series.

The CARNAN x ASICS GEL-Cumulus 16 “Path II” arrives in a deep purple palette built around a mix of textures. Open mesh forms much of the base, while shaggy suede and smoother overlays add dimension across the upper. Small green accents peek through underneath, with a black sole unit grounding the darker look.

The colors also tie into the story behind the project. Purple represents the partnership between CARNAN and ASICS, green reflects continued growth, and black represents stability and continuity. CARNAN branding appears on one tongue opposite ASICS branding on the other, while additional “Path” detailing appears around the shoe.

“Path II” centers on the relationship the two brands have built since their first project, with the campaign exploring experimentation, growth and the creative exchange between both sides.

The CARNAN x ASICS GEL-Cumulus 16 “Path II” releases first on August 19, 2026, through CARNAN’s website and flagship store, ASICS Brazil and select ASICS retailers. A wider global release should follow on August 20.
