The basketball sneaker of all-time, Converse’s Chuck Taylor is, in itself, a vintage piece of hardwood history. But somehow, Converse had made the silhouette even more retro, retooling the Chuck 70 with old-school tube sock ankle collars, reminiscent of the good ol’ days of basketball. The distressed matte uppers of both the white and black pair add to the nostalgic theme, paired with period-specific thin laces, and faded-white out medial patches, all adding to the sneaker’s throwback charm.
