Converse “Roswell” Collection Arriving for Conspiracy’s 73rd Anniversary

If we’ve learned anything about the Converse Chuck over the years, its that there’s no theme too out-there to explore. And the next thematic to grace the sneaker takes that all-too-literally, with a UFO-themed three-pack of Chuck classics.

Dubbed “Roswell” after the infamous 1947 incident in New Mexico in which conspiracists believed to be the crash site of an alien-occupied UFO. It was since debunked, but it did spake a series of future reports, claimed sightings, and even the abduction of cows. In the pack, which consists of a Chuck 70 Hi, a Chuck 70 Ox, and a Run Star Hike, features 1950’s-influenced graphics of New Mexico landscapes, wide-eyed alien characters, UFOs, and yes — even those abducted bovines. But while all three pairs feature the same illustrations, they do arrive printed on different colored canvas uppers. The Hi arrives on black, while the Run Star Hike features cream, with the Ox arriving in mismatched hues of green, pink, orange and bone. All three pairs come complete with 50s-inspired anatomical illustrated tongues, sail midsoles, and gum rubber outsoles.

A release date for the Converse “Roswell” collection is yet to be revealed, but with the event’s 73rd anniversary approaching on July 8th, you you should expect to see these sooner rather than later.
