Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has more Converse SHAI 001 Lace Up colorways on the way, with three new looks expected to arrive in November 2026.
The orange “Sun Ray/Egret” pair was the first of the group to surface, unveiled by SGA during Oklahoma City’s media day. The tonal orange design keeps the sculpted look of the SHAI 001 intact while swapping the original model’s zippered shroud for a more traditional lace-up setup.
Not long after, Veneda Carter offered an early look at two additional versions: “White/Fever Dream” and “Black/Fever Dream.” Both use bright red accents around the collar and tongue, giving the otherwise simple white and black bases a sharp hit of contrast.
The early images also sparked some speculation that the Lace Up could shift over to Nike branding, but that won’t be the case. Official imagery confirms the pairs will continue to release under Converse, complete with the brand’s star logo at the heel.
Structurally, the Lace Up keeps the same performance foundation as the original SHAI 001. Converse describes it as a lace-forward evolution of SGA’s signature sneaker, replacing the zipper while retaining the molded upper, low-to-the-ground ride, radial traction, and Nike Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot. Retail remains set at $120.
The White/Fever Dream and Black/Fever Dream colorways are currently expected to release overseas on Nov. 5 in adult and grade-school sizing, though U.S. release dates have not yet been announced. The orange pair is also expected during November
Expect more release details to surface as November approaches.
