    We couldn’t agree more.

Kanye West has continued his stance on the pressures of social media, this time around claiming the various social platforms are leading people to self harm, suggesting that people are “committing suicide due to not getting enough likes.”

Just this week, ‘Ye shared his thoughts on how society values follower counts on social media, saying “we should be able to participate in social media without having to show how many followers or likes we have,” he penned on Twitter.

“Just like how we can turn off the comments we should be able to turn off the display of followers. This has an intense negative impact on our self worth.”

And with this line, it becomes all too real: “Having your amount of likes on display for the world to see and judge is like showing how much money you have in the bank or having to write the size of your dick on your t shirt.”

But as real as it gets, Kanye is right about the effect that social media has on mental health. He goes further by stating that “There are people who are committing suicide due to not getting enough likes,”

He then puts the ball in the court of those responsible, calling for “. . . a live-streamed meeting with Jack Dorsey Kevin Systrom Mike Krieger Mark Zuckerberg and Evan Spiegal.”

Peep the tweets below and let us know your thoughts.
