The Men's Ecuador national football team is currently ranked 24th by FIFA. The South American country is far from being a favorite to win the 2026 World Cup™ tournament, but that hasn't stopped Marathon Sports from designing and manufacturing compelling kits for the side.
Sebastián Beccacece has assembled a formidable roster heading into the summer competition, spearheaded by the trio of Moisés Caicedo (Chelsea F.C.), Willian Pacho (Paris Saint-Germain F.C.), and Piero Hincapié (Arsenal). "La Tricolor" won't have the easiest group in the World Cup™, as Germany, Curaçao, and Côte d'Ivoire are sure to put up a fight, but Ecuador has the potential to cause an upset in Group E.
For its latest installment of kits for the South American side, Marathon Sports—which has been the national football team's kit manufacturer since 1996—has kept things simple, but proud. Home, Away, and Third jerseys for the World Cup™ feature a near-identical design, opting for respective yellow, navy, and white bases across performance-oriented material. All three designs draw from the Ecuador's rich culture and biodiversity, which come alive through subtle, embossed geometric patterns and textured lines across all shirts.
Kits made for football's biggest stage include a special message for both players representing Ecuador on-the-pitch and their fans: "Soñar, Trascender y Hacer Historia," which translates to English from Spanish to mean "Dream, Transcend, and Make History."
