When it comes to the Air Jordan 1 Low, the silhouette is never short of inspiration. On occasion, the brand is less subtle about it, as they look directly to it’s High OG counterpart to find a source of stimulation. This new Air Jordan 1 Low “Cherrywood” is one of those, as it looks to deliver a take-down effort of 2021’s Air Jordan 1 High OG “Bordeaux.”
Rocking replicated color blocking, the pair looks to bright white uppers, red wine overlays, and Swooshes of silver atop a simple white and wine sole unit. Here, though, materials are set in staple smooth leathers, unlike the High OG that proffered a premium tumbled and metallic finish to its panels. Still, the resemblance is uncanny, as it also deploys red-trimmed tongues and metallic silver Wings motifs to complete the design.
While an official release date for this new Air Jordan 1 Low “Cherrywood” has yet to be revealed, one would suggest that these may be scheduled for a Fall release.
