"Rare Air" Jordan 1 Low Samples Have Surfaced

As Jordan Brand gears up for the release of the Air Jordan 4 “Rare Air,” it looks like the concept has extended beyond the expected. Recently spotted in-hand are two rare Air Jordan 1 Low “Rare Air” samples that showcase a creative twist on the classic silhouette — but don’t expect them to release, per Nick DePaula.

The most notable detail is the mismatched Swoosh configuration. On both medial and lateral sides, the shoes feature different colored Swooshes, creating a split aesthetic that blends vibrant orange, red, and navy tones. The execution hints at the storytelling spirit behind the "Rare Air" branding — a nod to experimental design and unreleased heat from Jordan Brand’s vault.

Set atop vintage-style cream midsoles and black rubber outsoles, the shoes feature a mix of smooth leather and suede panels across the upper. Subtle details like exposed stitching and layered overlays give them that sample-only feel, clearly tailored for concept display rather than a full production run.

Though these won’t see retail shelves, they offer an exciting look into how Jordan Brand continues to reimagine legacy silhouettes in playful, unpredictable ways. This pair is more than likely the, no longer upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low "Summit White" which was set for Fall 2025.

Stay tuned for more more details on the "Rare Air" Jordan collection and make sure to checkout the recently surfaced 'White' Air Jordan 4 "Rare Air" sample which is also not expected to release.
