The Air Jordan 1 Mid "French Fries" Gets A Golden Makeover
Jordan Brand continues to explore playful themes across its lineup of products, applying cheeky color schemes, graphics, and materials to performance-informed basketball shoe designs. The latest arrives in the form of an Air Jordan 1 Mid inspired by french fries.
Clad in a delectable "Saturn Gold" tone, the pair forms part of a larger food and dessert-inspired collection that's already shared looks at the Kids' Air Jordan 5 Low "PB&J" retro. By comparison, however, the fries-inspired offering features a series of corduroy panels, a similar design element found on the cheeseburger-inspired Air Jordan 1 Mid.

The bulk of the upper opts for shades of golden yellow, mimicking the beloved fast food staple. Profile swooshes, however, deviate in a ketchup-reminiscent look that complements their surroundings well. Finally, a restaurant receipt graphic lands on the insoles.
Enjoy official photos of the french fries-inspired retro below. Pairs of the special edition Jordan 1 Mid are expected to hit Nike.com/Jordan on April 20.
