Jordan Brand is Dropping "Shattered Backboard" Cleats in July

Jordan Brand continues its push into football with another reimagined classic, this time bringing the beloved “Shattered Backboard” colorway to the gridiron. The upcoming cleats arrive just ahead of the highly anticipated return of the original Air Jordan 1 High OG “SBB,” which is set to re-release in August for its 10th anniversary in full-family sizing.

Ahead of that milestone, Jordan Brand has reshaped the football design, releasing the cleat in both adult and kid’s sizes. As with past cleated iterations, the makeover features key performance adjustments: a mid-cut build for improved ankle mobility, reinforced overlays for added durability, and a cleated outsole ready for on-field traction.

Visually, the cleat remains faithful to its 2015 predecessor, with a bold mix of black, orange, and white leather. The familiar Wings logo at the collar and Swoosh branding round out the design, ensuring the silhouette stays grounded in its Jordan 1 heritage despite its athletic shift.

The “Shattered Backboard” joins a growing lineup of iconic Jordan 1 colorways remade for alternate sports, showcasing the brand’s ability to seamlessly bridge legacy and function.
