This goes way back to the Y2K.
There’s been countless Air Jordan samples over the years that never quite made the cut (and some that definitely should have). And this ultra-rare Air Jordan 11 “Twilight Blue” Sample from 2000 could have been one that I’d have messed with.
Mind you, looking back with hindsight, that “JORDAN” lettering on the eyelets is a little dated – but it would have been ultra-crispy back then. But the coolest little detail is the “Jordan Jam” on the tongues, in place of the traditional “Jumpman / Jordan”
And it’s a timely surfacing, too, with the not too dissimilar Air Jordan 11 “Win Like ’82” not far of releasing, this adds a little more history (and Hype) to the fan-favorite silhouette. Coincidental? I think not.
So what do y’all think of this rare millennial sample? Tell us in the comments below!
