Air Jordan 13 “He Got Game” Low Cancelled for 2026

The Air Jordan 13 “He Got Game” Low will no longer release in 2026, as Jordan Brand has reportedly cancelled the planned retro of the iconic colorway in low-top form.

Originally slated for April 2026, the release would have marked the return of one of the most recognizable Air Jordan 13 makeups from the brand’s late-1990s era. The black, white, and red design earned its “He Got Game” nickname from Spike Lee’s 1998 film, where Denzel Washington’s character Jake Shuttlesworth wore the pair prominently on screen. Since then, the colorway has become closely associated with both the film and Michael Jordan’s closing championship run with the Chicago Bulls.

The cancelled low-top edition was expected to reinterpret the classic formula with a white leather upper, black suede overlays, and True Red accents across the outsole and branding. Core Air Jordan 13 elements—including the holographic “cat eye” emblem and panther-inspired outsole—were anticipated to carry over in a streamlined cut designed for warmer-season wear.

While the original mid-top “He Got Game” remains one of the most respected retros in the Jordan archive, it appears the low-top variation will not move forward at this time. Jordan Brand has not provided an official statement regarding the decision.

As always, release plans remain fluid, particularly this far in advance. Should the Air Jordan 13 “He Got Game” Low resurface in a future season, we’ll provide updated information accordingly.

For now, collectors awaiting the low-top return will have to turn their attention to other upcoming Jordan Release Dates scheduled for 2026.
