Kawhi Leonard might be part of the New Balance Basketball family today, but there was a time when the two-time NBA champion was signed with Nike, Inc. Throughout his time in partnership with the Oregon-based conglomerate, "The Claw" received a number of exclusive makeups from the company—including a black-and-gold Air Jordan 13 Low.
Worn ahead of the 2016 All-Star Weekend in Toronto, the Player-Exclusive (PE) pair recently surfaced by way of rare sneaker collector @pgknows on Instagram. Understated and straightforward, the Air Jordan retro opted for a premium, predominantly "Black" presentation that had some netizens mistaking the style for something from Jordan Brand's partnership with Drake. "Metallic Gold" accents appear throughout the patent leather-donning sneaker, ultimately animating Leonard's logo on the insoles.
Enjoy an in-hand video of the special AJ13 ahead. For styles you can get your hands on without having to pay over $8,000 (and wear a Men's size 14), visit Nike.com/Jordan right now.
