OG Post 06.02.19 // Jordan Brand is on a tear in 2019. Hellbent on reclaiming their lost market share, the brand has dropped an array of OGs to help restore the hype. But the lifeblood of the brand belongs in its NRG (special projects) division, which has in 2019 bolstered up its collaborative efforts, with the likes of Travis Scott at the forefront. But it’s not just collaborations that the team deals with, it’s special edition drops, like this upcoming two-piece Air Jordan 3 “Animal Pack,” that also drives the hype sky high.

According to sneaker leaker @zSneakerheadz and @SHOF, we will be receiving a duo of faux animal skin-covered sneaks in late 2019/early 2020. Detailed looks at one of the two Animal Pack Air Jordan 3s has landed courtesy of Stadium Goods, and it shows the pair predominately dressed in pony hair, paired with panels of leopard print on the toe and collar, tiger on the mid panel and zebra on the heel overlays. Midsole paintwork arrives in black and white, while a gum rubber outsole completes the unit. Vibrant red Jumpman branding pops out from the pony-covered tongues, and the pair is capped off with tortoiseshell eyelets and slightly translucent golden yellow heel tabs.

A release for the first-up Air Jordan 3 SE “Animal Pack” is pegged for December 19th, with a premium price point listed at $225 USD. It’s likely that it will arrive solo, as the other rumored pair is still unsighted. Stay tuned for more info on both pairs over the coming days and weeks!
