Each year, Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) brings out some of the most exclusive footwear on the summer circuit. With past EYBL editions of signature silhouettes like the Kobe 6 and KD 16 later seeing retail releases, there’s always hope that the latest PEs might eventually land on shelves.
However, that won’t be the case for this newly surfaced Air Jordan 3 EYBL sample.
Spotted via @ayden_snkrs, the pair sports a white tumbled leather upper paired with shaggy suede mudguards and overlays. It’s the tie-dye graphics, though, that steal the spotlight—blazing pink and purple marble patterns wrap the midsole, heel tab, and outsole, giving the shoe a distinct, summer-tournament vibe. Custom EYBL branding hits the right heel and insole, replacing the traditional Jumpman insignia, while the left shoe retains the classic Nike Air finish. All together, the retro delivers a much more experimental look than more traditional Player-Exclusives (PEs) like Carmelo Anthony's Chicago flag-inspired Jordan 3.
Despite its standout design, the Air Jordan 3 EYBL is expected to remain exclusive to players participating in this year’s tournament. So unless you’ve got game—and an invite—you won’t be able to score these.
