Carmelo Anthony Wears Exclusive Air Jordan 3 Inspired by Chicago's Flag

Carmelo Anthony is no stranger to making headlines. Outside of his professional NBA and Team USA career, the Brooklyn-born superstar has remained in the spotlight thanks to his diverse business portfolio, talented son, Kiyan, and appearance on 2K covers. Most recently, the 41-year-old took netizens by surprise with an exclusive Air Jordan 3 clad in the colors of Chicago's flag.

Worn on set of his 7PM In Brooklyn podcast, the pair features a predominantly light blue presentation accented with red elements throughout the upper and sole unit. The pair resembles work done by Nike, Inc. ahead of the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend held in the "Windy City." Anthony hasn't shared details behind the Air Jordan retro as of yet, but it's possible more details surface in the coming days. The Board of Greatness member previously showcased the sneaker on a house tour with Architectural Digest.

As one of Jordan Brand's earliest athletes, the former New York Knick amassed one of the most impressive rosters of Player-Exclusives (PEs) across the board. The "Chicago" AJ3 is simply another reminder of this.
