The return of the Air Jordan 9 Boot has become a biennial event, with "Beef & Broccoli," "Wheat," and "Black Gum" editions continuously restocking over the years. For Holiday 2025, Jordan Brand is bringing back two of those, with the fan-favorite "Black Gum" colorway—a winterized staple last released in 2022—joining a retro of the "Wheat" edition for the chilly back end of the year.

Originally debuting in 2017, the Air Jordan 9 Boot NRG "Black Gum" took the classic basketball silhouette and revamped it for rugged, all-weather wear. This retooled design features a durable mix of leather and suede in an all-black upper, reinforced with boot-style rope laces, metal eyelets, and a high-traction treaded outsole.
