Jordan Brand’s retro calendar continues to dig into its early-2000s archive, and for Spring 2026, it’s bringing back a fan-favorite that’s been missing in action for over two decades—the Air Jordan 9 “Flint Grey,” also known under the moniker of “French Blue.”
Initially released in 2002 (pictured below), the pair quickly became a standout among non-OG colorways, celebrated for its clean, versatile palette and premium feel. If the 2026 version returns true to form, we can expect a crisp white leather upper paired with smooth Flint Grey overlays on the mudguard, midsole, and heel paneling. A glossy finish on those grey components further elevated the design’s luxe appeal at the time.
Adding contrast are a series of French Blue accents on the eyelets, tongue logos, heel tabs, and the lateral Jumpman branding—tying the look together with just the right amount of color. Underfoot, a white rubber outsole completes the look, complete with the Air Jordan 9’s signature details.
According to zSneakerheadz and Sneaker Files, the Air Jordan 9 “Flint Grey” is locked in for a Spring 2026 return.

Also coming in 2026 is a return of the Premio Bin 23 series with the new-to-line Air Jordan 6.
