Where to Buy the Air Jordan 3 “Denim Fire Red”
When word of the Denim “Fire Red” Air Jordan 3 surfaced at the start of the year for the now-postponed Olympic Games, we knew we were in for something special. And the fact that we were getting two separate editions made it all the more hype. Much like we saw for All-Star Weekend’s “Red Cement”release, the two separate releases will arrive as a mass-produced GR and a secondary regional-exclusive release, both of which arrive rocking the same base sneaker.
Consistent for both pairs is a tumbled white leather upper, elephant print denim panels at the toe, eyelet, and heel, with red perforated leather collars, and black liners. Sole units arrive predominately white, complete with black forefoot traction and red Nike branding. For the GR pair, the well-documented clear-tab in the rear showcases OG Nike Air branding visible through the heel’s fully-translucent Jumpman-branded heel tab. The Japan-exclusive pair has avoided prying eyes until today, in which official images have revealed its defining differences: a custom heel logo and CO.JP-branded insoles. The former features a katakana-style logo beneath the translucent Jumpman Air of the heel clip, with the insole branding informing us that it is indeed a CO.JP drop, meaning these will not be available outside of the country.
Pairs of the global release are expected to arrive on August 27th, with whispers of the Japan-exclusives for August 7th, although neither date has been confirmed by the brand. With store lists and raffle guides to follow, make sure you keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account for updates!
In other Japan-exclusive footwear news, the CO.JP Jordan 1 “Metallic Silver” will be releasing in special-edition suitcasing.
