The Jordan Trunner LX, a hybrid silhouette born at the intersection of hoops and training, is the latest to receive the “Rare Air” treatment for 2025. In recent months, the “Rare Air” treatment has extended beyond the traditional Air Jordan 11, Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4, and onto new models with bolder identities, and the Trunner LX fits that mold perfectly.
Dressed in a mismatch of vibrant colors, the latest Trunner LX immediately grabs attention with contrasting red and green midfoot straps, each adorned with reflective dots and “JORDAN” embroidery. The bold look continues with Rare Air-branded insoles and asymmetrical accents—red on the right, green on the left—channeling the legacy of Jordan Brand through a playful and experimental lens.
The upper features a mix of breathable mesh, quilted textiles, and suede detailing, with tonal hits of black, grey, white, and navy grounding the otherwise vibrant overlays. Reflective elements and “JORDAN” branding on the pull tabs provide a performance edge, while the chunky midsole and speckled outsole nod to the brand’s recycled material efforts.
This new colorway is part of Jordan Brand’s push to reimagine archival silhouettes through a modern lens, bringing lifestyle appeal to performance roots. Though the Trunner LX may not be as widely known as flagship models, this “Rare Air” edition gives it a fresh narrative for a new generation.
Pairs of the Jordan Trunner LX "Rare Air" are expected to release this Fall 2025 for $130 via Nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers.
