First Look // Air Jordan 3 "Rare Air"

Though it's not celebrating any significant milestones in 2025, the Air Jordan 3 is having a standout season, with more than a handful of retros in the queue.

Joining the "Black Cat," "Hydrogen Blue," and "Valentine's Day" drops is the Air Jordan 3 "Rare Air."

This upcoming Air Jordan 3 will join the likes of the the Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 1 High OG "Deep Royal Blue," and Air Jordan 1 High OG "Cinnabar" which all fall under the "Rare Air" moniker for the 2025 season.

The release is expected to feature classic Black Cement blocking for the most part, but the design tweaks are plentiful. Most notably, the pair features sail-tinted Nike Air branding in the rear, though the right shoe will see this tab as a mirror image to the left. Leather overlays at the heel and toe replace the signature elephant print, while split-blocked midsole paintwork also brings a fresh perspective to the 36-year-old design.
