Although Jordan Brand is surely getting ready for the 2026-27 NBA season, it continues to look across the world for ways to continue elevating the game of basketball.
Today, Michael Jordan's eponymous label has announced the newest member of its extensive family: the London Lions.
Since 1977, the London-based organization has been pushing British basketball forward. In signing with Jordan Brand, the London Lions become the first British professional basketball club to wear the Jumpman logo on-court. The team's signature colors are similar to those of the Chicago Bulls, so the heritage aesthetic of many Air Jordan and Team Jordan shoes translate without a hitch.
"This is an exciting moment for our club," said Lenz Balan, President of London Lions. "Jordan Brand is one of the most recognisable names in basketball, and becoming the first British professional club to wear Jordan Brand uniforms is a milestone for the London Lions. As we continue building on the progress made across our men's, women's and academy programmes, we're looking forward to taking the court in a brand that has such a strong connection to the game."
Stay tuned for the British organization to make its debut in Jumpman-branded apparel and footwear by the end of summer. Players are expected to wear pairs like the Jordan Triangle and impending Air Jordan 41, both available via Nike.com/Jordan.
