Aaron Judge Approves of the Space Jam x Air Jordan 11 Baseball Cleats
Baseball might've not been central to the 1996 film Space Jam, but the iconic movie does show the one and only Michael Jordan playing in the Minor Leagues before helping the Tune Squad defeat the Monstars in a high-stakes basketball game.
Jordan Brand seems to be celebrating this part of MJ's personal and on-screen story with the release of the Air Jordan 11 MCS "Magic Ball" Baseball Cleats, which joins the team's expansive "Space Jam" 30th Anniversary Collection.
Air Jordan silhouettes modified for the baseball diamond aren't anything new, but the newly-surfaced style stands out due to its backstory and execution. The commemorative cleats feature a durable synthetic-leather upper that indulges in an all-over blue color palette. This color-shifting ensemble draws inspiration from the galaxy and falls in line with other Space Jam-inspired footwear made for the film's 30th anniversary celebration—including pairs inspired by the Magic Ball used by the Monstars to steal the basketball-playing abilities of several NBA legends.

Lightweight cushioning and traction rounds out the special-edition AJ11 MCS Baseball Cleats, which have been unveiled with the help of Jordan Brand Athlete and New York Yankees player Aaron Judge.
Stay tuned for detailed photos of the cleats ahead. A limited number of pairs are expected to release via Nike.com/Jordan around Thursday, Nov. 5.
