Much of Jordan Brand's 30th Anniversary "Space Jam" Collection reimagines popular Air Jordan retros with imagery and color schemes inspired by the Warner Bros. film, but it isn't stopping at silhouettes in which "His Airness" played. The Jordan Spizike Low and Jordan Son Of Mars hybrid designs have also joined the mix.
Both models live within the Spike Lee universe—the former being a modern take on the legendary director's first entry into the Jordan Brand Archive during the mid-2000s, while the latter debuted in 2012. As alluded to previously, the duo combines elements from Michael Jordan's signature sneaker line, making for two styles that are simultaneously familiar and intriguing.
The aforementioned celebratory range has placed emphasis on the return of the Air Jordan 11 "Space Jam" retro, but the inclusion of Spike Lee's Spizike Low and Son Of Mars showcase Team Jumpman's desire to not only offer a variety of footwear options to the masses, but also explore different color executions on busier designs.

Each hybrid Jordan sneaker opts for a thematic ensemble that nods to Space Jam's 30th anniversary. The Son Of Mars indulges in a "Grey/Ghost/Stealth/White" color scheme that gives the pair a "Lunar Tunes" nickname. Its moon-like aesthetic is contrasted by the vibrancy of the Spizike Low "Jam Central" style. Clad in a "Black/Green Strike/Racer Blue/Atomic Orange" medley of colors, the eye-catching pair features glow-in-the-dark side panels and outsoles. Its nickname draws from a section of the decades-old Web 1.0 website launched to accompany the Space Jam film during its initial run.
Both non-Air Jordans include Spike Lee's Mars Blackmon and 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks logos. Additionally, each pair arrives in a custom shoe box covered in Jordan Brand's special 30th Anniversary branding for Space Jam.
