Travis Scott x Air Jordan 3 Rumored to Release in 2021

Another day, another Travis Scottsneaker rumor. That’s legit how it feels over the past few weeks, but with the Houstonian’s level of celebrity still on the rise, we wouldn’t put it past Jordan Brand to issue the Astrowrold rapper another silhouette. This time, there’s word floating around that Scott is currently linking with the brand on an Air Jordan 3, which follows news of an Air Jordan 5 already in the works.

Sneaker-leakers Sole Debrief posted a mockup of an earthy-toned Air Jordan 3, claiming to represent the sample in question. The account concedes that, while the shoe may exist, there is no news on whether or not it will be released to the public. It may end up a Family and Friends exclusive, much like La Flame’s purple and olive Air Jordan 4s, and his yellow Air Jordan 6 — but one thing is for sure: Travis Scott has been given unprecedented access to Jordan Brand’s archive to a level that we’ve never seen before. We all know that these things are often short-lived, so here’s hoping we get a few more Cactus Jack drops before the fire fizzles out.

The original source, @soledebrief, has now confirmed that we will be seeing a retail release of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 3 in 2021 — although it is yet to be confirmed by secondary sources. Should that be the case, it’s the latest in an already-epic lineup for next year, including the return of the OG Air Jordan 6 Carmine, and the first-ever OG retro of the Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue”.
