Where to Buy the Air Jordan 3 “UNC”

OG Post // First looks at the Air Jordan 3 ‘UNC’ have finally surfaced, and, like others in the “Team Jordan Tag” series, it arrives pretty much a 1-for-1 of its respective Player Exclusive pair.

It’s the latest in a run of general releases that closely align to hyped-up College-exclusives, following the Air Jordan 5 “Michigan”, and will be joined by the upcoming Air Jordan 5 “Oregon”, all of which replicate a converted college Air Jordan PE sans the college branding hits. Linking them all together is a garment-style tag (seen here on the insoles) that mimic exterior “Team Jordan” tags seen on vintage warm-up college jerseys. For the Air Jordan 3 UNC, it arrives as a direct copy of this previously-previewed PE pair, with a few minor tweaks. “UNC” branding on the tongue is removed in favor of the staple Jumpman, but its form is replicated by 3D “Valor Blue” embroidery and navy outlines. Material changes slightly to, in both quality and construction, with an expected lower-grade of leather issued on the GR, patent leather mudguards removed in favor of a lightly-tumbled lather, and smooth leather tongues replace the buttery build on the Exclusive. It also appears that a duller shade of blue is used, while greys appear to be ever-so-slightly lighter.
