Monos, the design-forward travel brand known for elevating the art of movement, is venturing into a new frontier of experiential living with the debut of Postcard, a design-driven hospitality concept opening today (Friday, October 17) in Chicago’s West Loop.
Rooted in the brand’s philosophy that travel is as much a mindset as it is a journey, Postcard reimagines the modern lounge as a cultural hub — a place to pause, connect, and draw inspiration. The venue blends the warmth of hospitality with the energy of creative exploration, inviting guests to experience Monos’ ethos of mindful simplicity beyond its signature luggage.
Postcard brings together music, design, and community under one roof. Anchored by a bespoke sound system featuring vintage JBL speakers and horns, the space offers an immersive auditory experience curated by Uncanned Music and DJ King Hippo. Its food and beverage program highlights partnerships with Chicago’s own Metric Coffee, Rare Tea Cellars, Publican Quality Bread, and Open Water, reflecting Monos’ commitment to authenticity and local collaboration.
“Postcard is our love letter to culture, music, and the art of gathering — a space to slow down, be inspired, and connect over something beautiful,” said Victor Tam, Co-Founder and CEO of Monos.
More than just a café or lounge, Postcard marks Monos’ evolution from a premium travel brand to a global lifestyle company — one centered on intentional experiences, creativity, and connection.
Postcard is open now in Chicago’s West Loop, inviting guests to rediscover the joy of travel — not through distance, but through presence.
