The Next Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 Releases Again This Week

Aimé Leon Dore has officially unveiled their two new canvas and suede-clad New Balance 550 colorways, confirming a release via a draw on ALD’s website. The raffle will end on May 10th at 11:59 PM ET. A wider release will hit NewBalance.com on August 9th at 10:00 AM ET.

Original Post 02.20.23 Queens-based streetwear label Aimé Leon Dore will be bringing more New Balance heat in 2023, with another two installments of the 550 appearing ahead of an expected Fall/Winter release.

Clad in canvas and shaggy suede, the two new options opt for earthy tones and minimal blocking. Each features a natural, undyed look to its canvas uppers, and both rest atop a solid sail sole unit; the difference lies within their suede overlays, one proffering a tonal light tan, the other an earthy chocolate brown. Co-branded tongues, heel embroidery, and insoles complete the design, with both pairs set to arrive packaged in special boxing and extra lace options.
