Outfitters to urban youth DTLR return as a long-time collaborate to New Balance, with this all-new effort on the 2002R — a sneaker that nods the current climate of the world.

Dubbed the “Masquerade,” this offering of the New Balance 2002R draws inspiration from mask mandates that are relatively new to our current, everyday way of life and hones in on the elements of versatility and mystery through creative details and colors.

The features of this shoe allow for contrasting elements that give the wearer a vibe of business in the front and party in the back! With a full Black upper, made in suede nubuck overlay, and foxing up to the saddle in a classic Grey, the facade of the 2002R gives a classic, everyday look. Masked behind those darker hues, are pops of vibrant, festive pigments of Blues, Orange, and Pink, with Purple nuances. Instead of a reflective N, the logo is double stitched with a Black center, knitted mesh surrounds the reflective tip unlay, and the 992 edition laces are offered as a part of this release. This exclusive colorway creates a celebration of shades that pay homage to the ordinary vs the extraordinary.
