Where to Buy the JJJJound x New Balance 2002R GORE-TEX Pack
Montreal's JJJJound design studio has once again linked up with New Balance, continuing their collaboration with not one, but two distinctive takes on the GORE-TEX-equipped 2002R.
The latest offerings include a "Green Suede" variant and a sleek "Monochrome" version, both utilizing a jet-black ballistic GORE-TEX upper. This durable construction ensures that your feet remain dry and comfortable, making these shoes a perfect blend of functionality and style. The murdered-out sole units and JJJJound's signature minimalist black-on-black midfoot "N" branding enhance the shoe's sleek aesthetic, appealing to fans of refined design.
What sets these collaborations apart are the contrasting overlays - the "Green Suede" pair features mossy green suede with 3M reflective detailing for an outdoor-inspired look, while the "Monochrome" version opts for light grey suede overlays, adding a sophisticated visual contrast. Both pairs are equipped with rugged, hiking boot-inspired laces and a GORE-TEX tag on the lateral ankle, emphasizing their readiness for weather conditions.
Subtle branding from JJJJound adorns the heel and insole, maintaining the clean and cohesive design ethos that both brands are known for. It's a testament to JJJJound's ability to enhance the iconic 2002R silhouette with materials and details that speak to both the urban explorer and the style-conscious consumer.
Both pairs are poised to drop on JJJJound.com on February 15, followed by a wider global release on NewBalance.com on February 22. Pairs will retail for $190 a pop.
