JJJJound Dress the New Balance 2002R in Green Suede and GORE-TEX
Montreal-based design studio JJJJound is back in the spotlight, and this time, they've teamed up with New Balance to bring us the all-new JJJJound x New Balance 2002R in a captivating green suede and GORE-TEX construction.
The shoe boasts a rugged yet refined design, starting with a jet-black ballistic mesh GORE-TEX upper that provides durability and ensures your feet stay dry and comfortable in various conditions. The murdered-out sole units and JJJJound's signature black-on-black midfoot "N" motif add a touch of sleek minimalism to the overall look.
However, what sets this collaboration apart is the use of mossy green suede overlays and 3M reflective detailing. These elements provide visual contrast and bring a touch of outdoor-inspired style to the design. The utilitarian vibes continue with the inclusion of laces reminiscent of those found on hiking boots and a GORE-TEX tag on the lateral ankle.
JJJJound's minimalist branding makes a subtle appearance on the heel and insole, adding the finishing touches to this thoughtfully crafted collaboration.
