JJJJound x New Balance 992 Capsule Releases on August 20th in Europe

Montreal’s mood board-turned-purveyor of simple goods JJJJound has revealed a first look at an upcoming collaboration with the 992 model, confirming a return to the dingy grey hue that was made famous by their 990v3 collaboration of late 2018. Aside from the signature hue, the underlays and heel-tabs are a shade darker, while a jet black colors in the N logo as well as the interior lining of the shoe. Somehow JJJJound manages to re-interpret the basic grey New Balances with a subtlest of touches, proving that less is more given the right application. That’s been the case for nearly all the collaborations this year, including the Kith New Balance 992 and the WTAPS New Balance 992. A release date has yet to be confirmed, but once these drop, don’t expect them to be available for long. Stay tuned, because there will be more details to come.

Update 07.07.20 JJJJound has unveiled a second, green colorway of their upcoming New Balance 992 collaboration via this teaser image on Instagram earlier today (pictured below). A release date for the duo is not yet known — so stay tuned for more.

Update 07.21.20 A release for the duo of JJJJound x New Balance 992 has been confirmed by @nbsonly, with the grey pairs touching down on July 24th, followed by the greens on July 31st. Stay tuned for a store and raffle least for the drops!

Update 08.04.20 After selling out in mere minutes late last month, the duo of JJJJound x New Balance 992s has been confirmed for a wider release at the retailers listed below on August 7th.
