Ronnie Fieg Previews Kith x New Balance 993 Collab

As creative director and longtime fan of the New York Knicks, Ronnie Fieg has had a suspense-filled month. Ahead of the team's Game 5 matchup against the Boston Celtics, the Queens-native took to Instagram to reflect on his latest New Balance collaboration, unveiling a never-before-seen pair of the NB 993 by Kith in the process.

Unlike its predecessors, the latest New Balance 993 associated with Fieg features Kith branding at the spine. Past pairs have been exclusive to the retail empire, but have omitted direct nods to the brand or its founder. Fieg didn't acknowledge the unreleased sneaker in his post, but his move to unveil it as he pondered upon the Kith x New Balance 2010 project was surely intentional.

Seen in two photos, the impending Kith x New Balance 993 features a black, blue, and orange color palette. Fieg is pictured wearing the sneaker collaboration with a New York Yankees cap and Knicks-branded jacket by his team.

It's possible that the entrepreneur looks to launch the special NB 993 to coincide with the NBA team's success in the 2024-25 Playoffs, although that's yet to be seen. In any case, it's likely more collaborative styles of the comfortable New Balance sneaker are on the way.
