Levi’s x New Balance 992 Arrives August 6th

If you haven’t had enough of the cross-collaboration from Levi’s and New Balance in 2020, then there’s some good news heading your way. The great American denim house will bring to life its fifth New Balance sneaker of the year, delivering a brand new greyscale take on the New Balance 992.

A perfect balance of denim and other delightful materials blends with New Balance’s love for all things grey, with uppers of the famous fabrication covered by varying shades of — you guess its — grey suede throughout. Highlights and low lights feature in perfect balance, with mid grey suede at the tongue, toe, and heel, dark greys at the vamp and ankle, while the lightest hues hit the rear collar, mudguard, and eyelets. Underfoot you’ll find a multi-faceted, cream-struck midsole atop a full-length grey rubber outsole, and the pair is complete with the signature Levi’s red label at the midfoot, and striking red co-branded insoles.

Levi’s collaborative efforts with New Balance started back in April after they dropped a special “Levi’s for Your Feet” edition of the 1300 silhouette, which was then followed up by this month’s three-piece Levi’s x New Balance 327 collab — this 992 is expected to be the fifth shoe from the partnership this year.

As of now, neither brand has confirmed the release details surrounding this Levi’s x New Balance 992, but with official imagery materializing online today, you should expect to hear more on its release very, very soon.
