The New Balance 1000 continues its steady return to prominence, and for Spring/Summer 2026, the late-’90s runner surfaces in a women’s-exclusive “Navy & Gum” colorway that leans into classic sport styling.

As the silhouette regains traction through both collaborations and in-line drops, New Balance has kept the formula largely intact — preserving the model’s layered, technical build while refreshing it through versatile palettes. This latest execution follows that same blueprint, pairing deep navy mesh with matching suede and molded overlays that highlight the shoe’s signature curved paneling.

The tonal blue upper is contrasted by crisp hits of off-white across the oversized “N” logo and rope-style laces, adding subtle definition without disrupting the overall cohesion. Underfoot, a creamy midsole introduces a vintage tint, while the gum rubber outsole grounds the design with a heritage feel that complements the 1000’s archival roots.
