Salehe Bembury Previews a Second New Balance 1000 Collaboration

Fresh off launching his first New Balance 1000 collaboration, Salehe Bembury has taken to Instagram to tease a second makeover on the 26-year-old silhouette.

In comparison to his "Fog Be The Cloud" project, Bembury's latest take on the trail runner sees a purple-to-navy gradient finish across the bulk of its upper instead of a mostly-tonal blue finish. Shaggy suede and disparate hits throughout the upper return, with the rugged sole unit underfoot opting for an eye-catching orange-and-green color. The former hue animates the midsole, matching several accents at the spine and along the tongue.

Bembury has yet to provide a nickname for the NB 1000, but it's possible his next New Balance collab draws inspiration from the skies once more given his intentional choice of announcement shot.
