The New Balance 1000 continues to dominate as one of New Balance’s premier retro runners, leaving models like the 2002R in the dust. With each new release, this model further cements its status in the sneaker culture. The latest to catch the eye is the “Rain Cloud” pack, set to drop on October 7th, revealed through retailer images that showcase its understated yet versatile appeal.

The "Rain Cloud" pack consists of three pairs, each incorporating New Balance’s signature grey hue, dubbed “Rain Cloud,” on the quarter logos and midsole accents. This choice of color gives the pack its name and unifies the trio under a sleek, versatile design theme. The collection is poised to attract brand fans who appreciate a shoe that pairs easily with any outfit.

Each option in the pack—a black, a grey, and a white—features a classic combination of leather and mesh on the upper, ensuring durability and breathability. This trio of colorways offers a variety of choices for fans of minimalistic yet stylish footwear, echoing the aesthetic of the much-loved Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 1000 collaboration from June. However, the "Rain Cloud" pack stands on its own, focusing on muted tones that enhance the shoe’s adaptability and timeless design.

Priced at $150 each, all three pairs in the New Balance 1000 "Rain Cloud" pack will be available through New Balance and select retailers.
