The New Balance 1000 "Sea Salt/Heron Blue" Arrives August 21
Continuing its impressive streak of collaborations and striking GR drops, New Balance is set to debut a fresh colorway for its revamped 1000 model, perfectly capturing the essence of summer style.
Known as "Sea Salt/Heron Blue," this colorway follows the warmly received "Angora" release, further cementing the 1000’s status as a must-have in any Y2K-inspired footwear collection.
The "Sea Salt/Heron Blue" iteration of the New Balance 1000 sports a vintage-inspired palette that combines vibrant yellow and soothing blue hues, making it an ideal choice for warm-weather sneaker rotations. The shoe's base features a delightful sky-blue gradient, providing an incredible backdrop to the more dynamic accents. Adding a touch of brightness, a glossy yellow TPU New Balance logo adorns the lateral quarter.
This model embraces the beloved "dad shoe" aesthetic with cream midsoles and overlays that serve as a neutral canvas for brighter colors to shine. Yellow also appears on the stitched overlay accents and additional heel padding, bringing a cohesive and eye-catching look to the entire design. Subtle touches of blue and yellow grace the eyelets, tongue branding, and outsole, rounding out a color scheme that is both nostalgic and fashion-forward.
The New Balance 1000 "Sea Salt/Heron Blue" will be released on August 21st at New Balance US and will retail for $150.
