The New Balance 2002R is no longer the brand's marquee offering, but it continues to appear in compelling styles that round out the company's springtime offerings.
Having recently surfaced in a 'Linen/Green Apple/Sizzle' ensemble, the retro runner has just landed in a 'Grey Matter' makeover that also features vibrant 'Green Apple' and 'Limelight' accents. A hit of dark blue also claims real estate across the New Balance 860v2-reminiscent design, which works in-tandem with the green hues to create a Sprite-friendly retro look. The technical sole unit underfoot also indulges in the spring-ready color scheme, proving the NB 2002R's versatility.
Firm details regarding a release via NewBalance.com haven't surfaced as of this writing, but independent retailers like Sneaker Town currently have the 'Grey Matter' style on sale for $150. Continue ahead to check out campaign photography of the pair shot by the Miami and Brooklyn-based shop.
