The New Balance 327 Pops Up With Purple Uppers and Gum Soles

Quickly climbing the list of in vogue silhouettes not only for New Balance but the sneakerverse in general, the popular New Balance 327 has struck a chord with sneakerheads young and old, thanks to both its retro-inspired heritage and modern design tweaks. Color, too, has been a big selling point for the brand who frequently dabbles in greys, blacks, and muted hues, with the next pair to surface continuing the vibrant trend — again without losing its heritage.

First looks at this new Purple/Black New Balance 327 once again highlights the brand’s heritage through both build and palate, with retro suede overlays arriving in black and grey, and classic white and gum sole unit. Modern tweaks to the suede panel cuts, and exaggerated sole units and giant midfoot N motifs are highlighted all the more by the vibrant base layer, seen here in a mid purple. Capping off the design is clean white liners, laces, and tongue tags.
