First Looks // New Balance 550 “Cream Canvas”

New Balance will fit out the 550 in canvas this Fall, with a handful of outdoor-inspired options expected to hit shelves this season. The first cab of the rank is this new New Balance 550 “Cream Canvas” which pairs the titular textile with subtle pops of color and signature midsole fleck for that old-school hiking shoe steez.

Working through a spectrum of cream and beige canvas across the upper, the pair looks to solid blocking up front, with more diversity towards the rear. Here, tongues, collars, and liners all feature a warm light tan, whilst beiges and browns dress the collar overlay, mid panel trim, and midfoot N motifs. The rest of the upper is done up in natural cream hues. Underfoot, a tan and olive sole unit gets treated to a full flecked finish to capture that old-school hiking shoe aesthetic to finalize the design.

The pair is also expected to arrive alongside a matching pair in brown.
