New Balance’s 550 model may not carry the same weight as it once did, but it continues to play a significant role in the brand’s lifestyle offerings. This fall, the Boston-based label is giving the 550 a fresh interpretation by introducing the "Suede Toe" collection, which features three distinct colorways, each with a touch of luxury and a nod to classic styling.

The "Suede Toe" collection revolves around a sail leather construction, providing a clean and versatile base that pairs perfectly with each version's more colorful accents. The options include trims in Black, Green/Mustard, and Burgundy/Navy, offering a range that can suit various tastes and styles. Each pair maintains the integrity of the original 550 design but introduces solid-color suede on the toe boxes and collar trim, adding a subtle yet impactful twist that enhances the shoe’s visual appeal. Additionally, each sneaker features a color-matched midfoot N logo, crafted in soft chenille, adding sophistication and a unique textural contrast to the leather and suede.
