Two New Athletic-Inspired New Balance 9060s Appear for Fall
While New Balance continues to expand its offerings with new silhouettes like the 2000 and 2010, the 9060 remains firmly planted in the brand's rotation. Known for its Y2K-inspired sole and layered mesh-and-suede build, the model is back again for Fall 2025 in two color-rich takes that balance vintage athletic appeal with a refined finish.
The first pair blends cream suede overlays and white mesh underlays with rich burgundy accents throughout, including the tongue, liner, and outsole trim. The second option is a light grey base and white mesh paired with a strong navy and powder blue helping. Both pairs ride atop slightly yellowed midsoles for a retro-worn look, while red NB 9060 logos on the tongue provide a unifying detail across both entries.
Each pair maintains the 9060’s signature exaggerated midsole, ABZORB cushioning, and rubber pod tread for performance comfort and streetwear style. With their sporty palettes and classic construction, this upcoming duo feels primed for transitional season wear.
No release date has been set, but both pairs are expected to land on NewBalance.com later this Summer or early Fall.
