Teddy Santis’ Next New Balance 990v2 is Built in Black and Cream
With Teddy Santis now at the helm of New Balance’s Made in USA division, it’s easy to see how much energy the Aime Leon Dore founder has thrust upon the Boston-based brand. Currently, in his debut season of Made in USA footwear releases, the drops keep on getting better as time progresses. Coming next is this New Balance 990v2, which once again looks to sports-inspired mesh and classic suedes for construction. Here, though, Santis employs a darker pallette, perhaps to keep on ice for Fall, as it looks to creamy uppers, tongues, and midsoles set against jet black overlays. Playing minor roles are mid-greys at the forefoot, and light tans towards the rear to add some extra warmth to the release.
