The New Balance 990v6 Appears in Grey and Navy

Since its debut greyscale drop, things have been awfully quiet for the New Balance 990v6. Apart from the hype drummed up by the Action Bronson “Baklava” collab, and a duo of follow-up GRs, the silhouette has rarely been seen. But we approach the summer season, a new pair has appeared, this once bringing back some heritage hues to the mix.

Echoing some of New Balance's most iconic designs, the recently revealed sneakers embrace a timeless grey and navy color scheme. The breathable mesh base maintains its standard grey hue, while the overlays, varying in shades, span the entire model and adopt the customary suede composition. The cushioning and tread combination underfoot retain their reliability and performance, even as they're enhanced with added bulk and showcased in a heritage-inspired white and grey split-color arrangement. The 990 motif graces the lateral ankle, while a fresh V6 emblem on the tongue denotes the silhouette's sixth iteration.
