The colorway bears striking similarities to the Japan-exclusive Shohei Ohtani New Balance 990v6—a pair the Dodgers superstar has been seen wearing frequently. Whether intentional or not, the overlap suggests Ohtani’s growing style influence may be creeping into general-release products. Here, Crisp white leather overlays meet navy accents and soft green suede panels, giving the shoe a true retro dad-shoe look reminiscent of early 2000s staples like the NB 608 and Nike Monarch.
