These Two New Balance 997s Rep NB’s Chunky ENCAP Reveal Sole

Two new Spring-ready options of the 997 are on the way, a duo which utilizes both futuristic designs with heritage hits of mesh and suede materials. Utilizing the characteristically chunky ENCAP Reveal sole unit as it’s base, the par sets off on a multi-sectioned design with each panel offering up a different material. Mesh is found covering the entire toe box, which moves onto a lush suede mid panel before reaching a neoprene-like bootie collar. Suede pops up again on the heel to complete the design. The two offering arrive in seasonal Maroons and Greys, each sporting hits of muted colors on the aforementioned sole unit.
